Applications are invited from Sportspersons for the post of (SWE) Single Window Operator (Clerk)/Officer (JMG Scale-I) in Canara Bank from Indian citizens. The Discipline/Specialty and number of sports persons to be recruited are as :
1) Cricket (Male) : 10 [4-Batsmen;1-Right/Left Arm Spinner;1-Wicket Keeper/All Rounder;4-Medium pacers/Seamers]
2) Athletics (Male/Female) : 04 [Sprinters]
3) Shuttle Badminton (Male/Female) : 04
4) Table Tennis (Male/Female) : 04
Age Limit : Age as on 01st April 2014 for SWE (Clerk) : 20-28 years; Officers : 21-30 years. Relaxation for SC is 5 years and for OBC is 3 years.
Sports Qualification : For the post of "SWE" (Clerk) :
Should have represented the State in the National Championship in the immediate 3 preceding years 2010-11,2011-12,2012-13 preferably medalist (1st or 2nd). Presently should be representing the state.
For the post of "Officer Cadre" :
Should have represented the Country in International events and should be representing the Country at present OR should have won "Arjun Award".
Educational Qualification : At least a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline. Also should have computer literacy.
