SSC is conducting an All India Open Competition Examination for recruitment to the Group 'C' posts of Data Entry Operator and Lower Division Clerk in various Central Government Ministries/Departments/Offices. The number of vacancies are as :
1) Data Entry Operators (DEO) : Total 1006 posts
2) Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC) : Total 991 posts
Qualification : Minimum 12th standard pass. The exam will comprise of a written objective type exam followed by Data Entry Skill Test/Typing Test.
Date of Examination : 02/11/2014 & 09/11/2014
Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200. Grade Pay : Rs.2400/- for DEO & Rs.1900 for LDC
Age Limit : 18-27 years as on 01/08/2014. Age Relaxation for categories as per govt. norms.
Fee : Rs.100/- payable through CRF Stamps for OFFLINE Application OR SBI Challan or Online payment through SBI payment portal in case of ONLINE Application.
No Fee for SC/ST/PH/ExS/Women
